MORATTI: "RONALDO? NO CONTACT MADE"

Massimo Moratti spoke to journalists on leaving his offices in Milan today. "Yesterday's victory was a show of character and strength, especially at the start of the match, and this gives us hope," the Inter patron said. "Is Mancini expecting a present? I'm hoping for a present myself against Empoli. It's necessary, otherwise these kind of efforts are useless."On Ronaldo and Cassano, Moratti added: "Selling Ronaldo and his return are two different situations. Nothing is ever impossible. In this case, however, there has been no contact of any kind. I just think it's a journalistic thing. I haven't considered it, but I can't deny that I have always liked Ronaldo. I'm saying it's just a journalistic thing. And even if Ronaldo wanted to return, it's the when that interests us in life."Cassano? At the moment we have to make the most of the players we have. I wouldn't want to cause problems for the team." A comeback in the championship? "There are still many matches, we have to continue to do well, and doing well means we have to play like we did in the first twenty minutes yesterday."
